I heard I had to introduce myself when I do this so:
Hi I'm a newbie. My user name is sdutop.

So the question is this:

If Groudon and Kyogre had another HUGE battle, given the fact that it wouldn't be [too] dangerous to watch, who would you root for to win this fierce battle?

Groudon, or Kyogre?

EDIT: There has been a small mix-up some people have believed in Groudon. Allow me to sum this up:
Groudon is ONLY a GROUND type Pokemon. Yes I know he's a giant red beast of some sort, and he can learn a fire type move or two, but remember that not only did he originate from underground, his name is partly cut from the word ground itself, so that should tell that he is indeed, a ground type.

Groudon would stomp Kyogre and kill it flat. Groudon wins with these stats. .-.

Groudon: 9999/9999
Kyogre: Noob/Chicken (Stands for 0/1)

Let's try not saying stupid things outside of the Crazy House, ok? Also, you introduce yourself with a thread in the Newbie Forum. You should do so i f you haven't already.

Next off, Kyogre has a type advantage and stat advantage. Kyogre's stats (high special stats) give it a huge advantage over Groudon (high physical stats)

Hmmm....
I tihink in a fight between the two kyogre would win(water vs fire).
But I prefer Groudon just because he is cooler and I have Pokemon Ruby.

i think that Kyogre will win. Kyogre is like a water type and Groudon is a ground and fire i think.or if any, if there was a rain storm i'd pick Kyogre, but if there was a drought i would have to pick Groudon.

And he learns a bunch of fire type moves, too. Groudon is more versatile but Kyogre is better suited for battle

I'm not sure if that is going to really make a difference...

With a blast of Hydro Pump, Groudon could be easily weakened unless
it somehow knew how to use potions

Seriously though, I would root for Groudon. He is pure awesome!

I'd say it's a tie. Groudon knows solorbeam, Kyogre knows water moves. So i'd just have to say it's a clear tie. Raquaza might break it up again any ways.

Kyogre would kick but because even though they are arch-rivals it's water vs. fire generally water wins.

It really depends on whose ability activates second because that will cancel out the other ability. I'd still vote for Kyogre though. I like it better.

I have to admit that you are right, the drizzle or drought ability being active would give the corresponding pokemon a huge advantage. (tip send kyogre in seconnd, and use either hydro pump, surf, waterfall, ice beam, or waterspout) Everyone happy now?
