I never really drew in a textbook when I was in school, but I do know what you are talking about with the men's body parts. At my school it wasn't just it books, it was on the wall, carved into desks, and really just anywhere they could do it. The swastika was also a recurring theme on everything listed above.

I do have a story about drawing on the wall, its off topic but since we are on the subject I will tell it anyway. This moron (that had no clue how really what the symbol stood for) drew any Anarchy symbol (the common A in the circle) on the wall out side a class room and I got blamed for it because I am an Anarchist.

yes i draw in textbooks but only write scribbles or just put a happy face,and i have also seen stuff like turn to page 20 then go to 69 and then at the end say something mean like your a idiot for wasting your time so yeah i see mean things.most of the time i see a lot of male parts and bad words, sometime even writings that say i love nicole,but great thread and that would be a yes that i sometimes do but not like perverted stuff like males parts or even write mean stuff that hurt people.

I draw in textbooks sometimes when I have nothing to do after tests. They are normally smilies or stickman Dragon Ball Z. I sometimes work out Math in them .

If you take a look at any of my Middle School textbooks, you will, without a doubt, see drawings of some sort. In class, when the teacher is explaining a boring-to-death lesson, I can't help but doodle XD! My friends do that a lot, too. My agenda is also flooded with sketches .

I don't ever do this.. It's quite wrong because if you have to turn in your workbook or journal or whatever, the teacher can obviously see and may put you in punishment or something.. :p

I also don't like to waste pages because I don't really waste paper I guess...

Plus I am not a good drawer at all.. I can't even draw a dog.. (Everyone laughs at me for drawing an oval with four lines sticking out of it on a sheet of paper because I had to)

I enjoyed doing it as of nobody could ever find out who actually done it... it's quite wrong but what can I say I was young and didn't know any better? Now I would never do something like that because it's bad and just not something I would think of doing. I bet you anything my old high school friends still do it and enjoy doing it because they are crazy people like me. Books are expensive though and I would be surprised if somebody hasn't already gotton caught and had to pay for the book!
