jtotherock23 : I haven't experienced much lag this tournament, unless someone who has a slower PC/connection tries to record or BOTH people try to record. Otherwise lag is minimal. Are you playing in the United States?

Also restarting your computer usually helps fix any lag issues..unless the problem is the PC itself.

2. The Vikings aren't too tough to beat. You just have to sell out to stop the run. They can't pass ;-)

3. This is hard to stop because when people start doing bad, they drop out. Also there are a lot of younger users who have to cater to what their parents want and aren't very good at communication. Thankfully these hacks have helped us get a TON of referrals so hopefully we will have some more mature and excited members for next tournament. This one has already been better than last tournament.

4. All I can say about this is practice practice practice. Just keep playing as many games against other users as you can.

Lol I came in last

As I thought about the end of that game afterwards, had I remembered that Matt Prater was easily capable of hitting the 54 yard FG, I would have attempted it to go for the 17-14 win. Woulda coulda shouldas though.  I still held boomer to a season low in points and had him on the ropes more than anyone else did this year.  If I couldn't win, this was as good a loss as I could have.

Lynchcats : Yeah, playing boomer is all about going the distance, not winning lol.

I'm glad I got beaten by the best congrats boomer. A fun season overall. Any way we can do this with any other sports?

jtotherock23 : I might think about doing another netplay tournament based on a different sport (or multiple sports) but the only problem is that not as many users would be interested since a lot of users on this site don't like sports.

Davideo7 : While I agree not many members are big into sports, I think it's more about the game. A game like Techmo Bowl (or NBA Jam, one of my favorites) can be enjoyed by someone that doesn't have loyalty to the sport it's about and just enjoys the game because it's fun.

jtotherock23 : That's actually a great point. I don't care for Basketball and have never really got into a Basketball game except NBA Jam, for whatever reason that was one of the very few Basketball games I enjoyed and played a lot of.

So I guess if we pick the right games, it could appeal to more people. Of course the games would also have to be games that don't require a ton of knowledge of the sport because that would be a turn off for users who don't know anything about sports but are willing to play sport games.
