I use a PS3 control for gaming on vizzed  via motioninjoy software and everything has worked fine so far when I was using it for NES or SNES games. However I tried to use it for N64 games and while the control is recognized, it doesn't allow me to customize my controls at all. Every time I click an input such as "up" on the d-pad for example, an in put of k_e shows up and nothing happens when I try to use my controller to set the keys. The same thing happens for any button command I try.

Any solution possible for this issue? Thanks for any help received.

Are you using the Mupen64 emulator? It won't allow you to customize it at all, only the 1964 emulator will. Sorry

No with Mupen64 it doesn't even allow you to open up controller options period. I'm using the 1964 emulator and as stated before, in the controller configuration setup, it recognizes I am using motion joy software however it won't allow me to set  any inputs using the controller so basically I can't get any controls working like I want them to be.

I doubt a ps3 adaption would work on either emulator at all, you may as well download project 64 and see if it works there and play it on that emulator

Try using the Vizzed emulator, I think that will work probably. Are you double - clicking the screen either? I am just wondering though..
