First off let me say that im using windows vista so im not sure if this will work on other computers.
On the bottom of  your computer screen you should see a volume symbol, right click on it and choose open volume mixer.
Next click the volume icon of your internet browser. Im using fire fox so it shows Mozilla  Firefox. And that is all there is 2 it. If you want 2 listen 2 music in your background over the internet then just use a different internet browser such as google chrome, internet explorer. Or what ever you choose.
One last thing. If you cant find the volume symbol it is the little ear bud looking thing with a couple of sound waves coming out of it.
