Just something I wanted to spit out. This game's title probably is a mistyping of AxeRay, as the "l" sound doesn't exist in Japanese language and the "r" sound is used instead. AxeLay is a weird title for a shmup, and it probably would fit more with a middle ages-inspired action game where your main weapon is an axe (that would be really awesome if it existed). But AxeRay sounds more shmup-ish, probably because of the "Ray" part. But it would lead to confusion as it would get mixed with Taito's Ray series of vertical shooters...
