Local Mods :If this is in the wrong forum, I apologize. Please move this thread if so (obviously).

Back to the thread. This is a pretty basic question. Which voice actor for Wario did you like better? Charles Martinet (Voice of some character from Skyrim, the baby Mario brothers, and Mario, Luigi, and Wario) or the German voice actor that said Doh I missed! So ein mist in the Mario Party games? Personally, I prefer the German voice actor. I like hearing him say Doh I Missed, it's pretty funny. It became a meme as well. And he voice acted Wario in the games I grew up with. Sorry, Charlie! You're a true inspiration, but still...so what do you guys think?

The German guy. I was amused by the "D'oh, I missed!" as well. I found it funny, and I use it whenever I do something wrong. It's sort of fun to do it in front of friends.

I never liked the German guy, personally. I remember putting in the first game with him in it, and hearing his voice and thinking "What the heck? Wario, what happened to your voice, dude?". After all that time hearing a guy that sounded Italian like Mario (which only made sense), popping a game in and hearing this guy's voice just ruint a lot of the experience for me. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but if you knew how I am about details, you'd know understand. lol People don't just switch accents that radically, and it really messed things up in my opinion. But then, this is all based on which voice I heard first. Still, I think the Italian sounding Wario made much more sense because of Mario sounding that way.
