My computer restarted, and the window closed. I did save but my game won't load???

I was playing Pokémon platinum and saving/loading with no problem but then my laptop restarted for updates.. Is the saved game gone for good, and you can only keep playing so long as the game window doesn't close? Nothing happen when I try to load state and there is only the option for new game. I am confused.

Just to make sure, you had both the Vizzed.com browser and game window opened when you saved, right? Saves won't work properly if you're not logged on Vizzed when playing the game.

When you click 'Play Game' on Pokemon Platinum and it opens another window for the game, don't close the other window! That window will automatically refresh itself from time to time in order to determine if you're still online and playing a game.

You could load game data with the Expansion Pack(which is in your pc controller somehow).
