I read some reviews, and I was still left with one or two questions that're really important to me.

On Valkyrie Profile, you're given some sort of time limit or what-not that you must beat the game under or something. Is this time limit present in Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth as well?

Also, for those who have played/owned the games, does the timer stop once you access the Seraphic Gate and other bonus areas? I'd hate to go through the struggle of defeating the Iseria Queen only to find out I can no longer have a certain game ending or something similar.
