So the question is how I keep sane in the madness of this world?
To be honest, I don't. Maybe the only way to remain your sane self is to become insane yourself?
It works for me at least. I do the craziest things I can think of, and that's how I keep the really mad thoughts out of my head.
Another good way of keeping perspective is taking a long walk on a rainy day. My mind and my thoughts are free under my rainbow coloured umbrella, on a really rainy day I can go there, smoking a cigarette (I only smoke when I need to think about something important) and listen to the raindrops.
