Once again I come to you great people for help. I have a couple of psx downloads. I noticed that some unzipped files come with sub/ccd files, and then some have .bin/cue files. So far I have only been able to burn the cue files. They do work in the unit, but they like studder ... stop and go, stop and go. I have done 2 , and both are like that. Now on the other hand, I have been unlucky to burn ccd files. Can somebody PRETTY PLEASE shed some light for me? p l e a s e !!!!! Is there a burning program that will burn all these types of files? Do I need to use different programs for different files? Why the stop and go, stop and go play on my burned ones??? Again ... you guys are ALL awesome on here and thank you!!!!!!!!!

"A .ccd (CloneCD Control File) file is a text descriptor used by CloneCD to mark the properties of a CD/DVD disk image. These file need to be combined with an image file (usually with .img extension) to be burned. It may also come with a subchannel file (usually .sub).

The .ccd extension can be used directly by first-party disc emulator Virtual CloneDrive. It can also be mounted with third-party virtual drives such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%."

You need to use a program like CloneCD http://www.slysoft.com/ or Alcohol 120% http://www.alcohol-soft.com/ to burn the game image.

At a guess its either how they were burnt or the program you used.
What program did you use and did you use any special settings?

I'm pretty sure Alcohol 120% has a PSX burn option so it would burn correctly, but I havnt checked in a while
