Well, you could always find some guides, some which are very good!
In my opinion, a way of getting every Pokemon in the game, as in no Pokemon evolve without trading or something of the sorts. That makes a Pokemon game very good in my opinion. Try to change the story line, or the difficulty for more of a challenge. There are more stuff you can do, but this are the best I could come up with.
