I've been trying to figure out how to simply save my progress in Zelda Link's Awakening for the gameboy emulator without much luck. The emulator instructions say to save within the game and then within the emulator, and do the same for loading; however, I cannot figure out how to save within the game lol. A character in the game says to press all buttons at once, but I don't think that is doing anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just tried it. You have to press A + B + Start + Select at the same time. Keep trying until a menu pops up. It will say either 'Return to Game' or 'Save & Quit'.

Looks like you got this answered. And, yes, she's completely right. It works. Also, F2 and F4ing work well, too. That's Vizzed method of saving which is most trustworthy unless you switch computers often. Otherwise, the ingame works well.
