I personally am quite a big fan of the legend of Zelda game series. I have emulated some of the earlier games and played pretty much all of them  (Except the CDI games, but they were horrific). I just like the story and adventure which features in all of them.

My favorite series is the Dark Cloud series. They are both for PlayStation 2, but I happily replay them all the time. Zelda and Trauma Center/Team are fun, too.

It's impossible to pinpoint one, as I like many series with different type of gaming on many different consoles.

In RPGs, I love Final Fantasy, which is usually at the forefront of the genre.
