But if it's just dark and I'm in my own house, then I wouldn't be afraid. Though I still wouldn't like it because I wouldn't be able to see where I'm going.

No, I'm not afraid of the dark at all.. In fact I love the dark! When the sun goes down and it's really dark in my room, it's the best time to watch horror movies or play horror games, you can't truly enjoy horror games or movies if it's not dark outside.
Aside from creating a good horror atmosphere, the dark also makes it easier to sleep for me, and I love to sleep so that's a good thing (•⊙ω⊙•)
