So I just recently got the PSX item from the item shop and tried out some games. I noticed that every game that I downloaded so far are laggy. The background music have static and echoing in them that are very interfering. It gave me a headache after 5 minutes of gameplay. So basically, I think I need an upgrade on graphics cards. Here's what my system currently is. 

Toshiba Satellite L755 (Laptop)
Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B950 @ 2.10GHz  2.10GHz
4.00 GB 64-bit Operating System
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family (<-- Current graphics card)

I pretty much just copied what my Computer Properties listed down; I have no idea what any of them means. So if anyone could reply in a way I could understand, I would be grateful. 

Oh, and in case I wasn't clear- I need recommendations on a new graphics card that would let me play the PSX emulator with no problems. Preferably something that doesn't cost me an arm or a leg.

Its not your computer, though a quad core would help. Its more the browser based emulator thats the problem. You will find that if you use a normal emulator it will run fine.
If you want a new graphics card, I would go with an AMD Radeon. Thats what my laptop uses and it seems to be compatible with everything.

zeross121 : Thats irrelevant to how the game will run. That only affects the download speed.

What's a quad core? And what's the price range of that AMD Radeon you mentioned? I guess I could try using another emulator first, but it doesn't hurt to have back up.

Mistress : No idea. Mine came with my laptop. Quad core is the processor(CPU). You said 2.1GHz twice, so I would assume that would mean two cores. If it were to tell you it four times, you would have four cores.

Oh! I understand what you mean, I remember hearing about that a long time ago when I was looking to upgrade my desktop. I ended up getting this Laptop instead. Thank you for your reply!

Mistress : does it sort of lag sometimes but will have moments where it works ok? if so your laptop needs to be cleaned out from the repair shop like mine. Graphics card is probably the answer but you may wanna see if it's what I said too

I've only had her for a year, so I'm not sure how badly she needs to be cleaned. And it's really not the lag that bothers me, it's the sound.

Mistress : the guy told me about once a year to get it cleaned, but yeah i had laggy sound too. Could be the graphics card (which you can't upgrade for laptops) is your laptop one that sometimes makes noises or gets really hot?

Don't they all make noises? Mine does but it isn't loud; you'd practically had to be in a library with no air conditioning-type of silent room to hear it. And it does get hot, but she cools off pretty quickly. Also, are you serious about not being able to upgrade graphics cards for laptops?

Mistress : yes you can't do it. The only way it has ever been possible is if you had a really expensive high tech laptop and upgrading ti would still cost a lot anyways. I wanted to upgrade mine too but alas it's impossible i think because it's built into the motherboard and laptop system whereas on PC boxes you can easily chop and change it

Ah, I almost forgot. Since my attempts of changing my cards are going to be futile...
