Has anyone else been watching the final season of Dexter, on showtime?  I have been following Dexter since day 1, I have never missed an episode.  We all know the end is coming, there is 5 episodes left and then the show is done forever.  However, so far in this season it hasn't felt like it was coming to an end yet.  I haven't felt them turn the corner yet, from just regular storyline to, "oh wait, this is it, this is THE end...."  So far it just feels like every other season.  What does everyone else think?

I agree with you completely! I'm watching the last episodes of Breaking Bad too and it's sooo captivating and suspenseful and you can surely tell that it's the end. Dexter, on the other hand, has been a little disappointing. I'm not being pulled in to the story like in previous seasons. The Hannah plot is stale, to me at least. Annoying actually. There's just too much going on it seems like. Deb freaking out then being ok, there's the kid he took on as a pupil, Dr. Vogul who seems like she might be the real 'villain of the season' in my eyes. I don't know, I'm sure it will eventually get real crazy and awesome during an episode soon, maybe the next one!
