    The best thing to do is be patient. It's the most frustrating level in the game to me... even more so then Rainbow Ride.

    Try out every time/speed (12,3,6,9) for each star and you should get the hang of it eventually. Also make sure you have all your jumps mastered. That was definitely a downfall of mine as a kid.

To make the level easier, jump into the clock when the big hand is on the 12. It doesn't matter where the little hand is. Doing so will stop the moving objects in the clock such as the pendulum at the start of the level and the platforms where the red coins are. That's the only tip I can think of so, good luck!
