So recently I was thinking...I'm happy with my video game equipment, but it just wasn't complete... I had a GBA, GBC, SNES, Wii, DS, XBOX 360. I discovered this store that's near where I live, and it sells retro games. I got a gold limited edition N64 that came with one controller, and it was only $40...

On eBay, I was looking for a game to complete this set, and I discovered an auction. We won it. $15.50 for a copy of Super Mario 64 that came with the game box, the Game Pak was still in the plastic wrap, it was in good condition (the N64 was in great condition as well) it came with the instruction booklet which I don't even need, and also that slip of paper you were to turn in to get issues of the Nintendo Power magazines, which is clearly useless to be, because this paper is from 1996, and the last issue was released in the December of 2012. Long story short, I scored a (sorta) brand new copy of Super Mario 64 while the lowest price I've seen for a copy of Super Smash Bros that's basically brand new is $51.00

So there you have it.

I'd say you got a pretty good deal as long as everything works fine. Its hard to find older systems that still work good.

Yeah, I'd say you got a good deal on both. I'd love to find something like that myself. The other N64's I found in my search (after reading this) were priced in the lower 50's. As for the game, I think you did good to get a game in that shape for $15.

I think that's a good deal because you'd think old consoles and games in good condition would cost a lot of money but it didn't. That sounds really cool!
