Yes i am finally back after complications but i am alive for this review now this is my favorite starter and for good reason so i am going to tell you right now go choose totodile thats it thats all you need to know good bye...what you need more than that...?fine i just wanted to play some street fighter but i guess i have to tell you why totodile is the best starter out of all of these guys well first of all it gets the best attack and defense out of all the starters so there thats a good advantage already sadly a disadvantage to this pokemon is that it learns water gun at level 13 so you wont have a decent move up until...maybe the first gym if your like me and you train alot after that you can evolve totodile at level 18 which is a major pain but just deal with it if you got a decent team you can survive easily now there are not many gyms where totodile is great at but he can put up a good fight where totodile will be best though is in kanto you can take out Brock and Blaine easily moving on after you evolve totodile you get your retarded looking beast known as croconaw which is pretty good but the problem still remains that it does not get to many good moves if any at all you get slash at level 37 which does not even matter because you get feraligatr at level 30 which is when all the good stuff starts to happen it gets a massive increase in stats at full potential #aka level 100# all its stats combined should be 530 which all the others starters in the game dont even get close to but ONCE AGAIN the problem remains that it does not learn many good moves except hydro pump at level 58 so its a long wait but anyway we can move on to a different subject which is you rival and good god when you pick this thing your rivals starter will be so easy to beat i mean chikorita and its evolutions have 5 easy weakness flying poison bug fire and ice 3 of these types are practically handed to you at the start of the game ?so dont worry about him as for tms well this is the only starter where i absolutely have to say GIVE THIS THING TMS rely on them because this things moveset is as you can tell not great i recommend surf the most make that your main move as for the elite i say take if you dont want to take gyarados and...yep thats it final thoughts.

Final thoughts:okay not much to say here except this is a good pokemon you dont even need an expert player to use it or an extreme team to back it up and still since this is and older pokemon game you can just over train your starter and practically use this thing to tank through the game ?but it does have one flaw and sadly this flaw is major and holds it back from being a 5/5 and thats its moveset i am sorry but my god i can barely take this moveset but dont let that flaw stop you from using it i love this pokemon it was my first starter for pokemon gold so if you want to use it great if you dont okay but technically and i have done research this is the best starter..YEAH YEAH SHUT UP FANBOYS but anyway thats it time for final rating.
