And as always, anyone saying one is "better" is just an opinion.  It goes down to which system has what you want.  Personally I will buy a PS4 first because I believe they have a stronger plan in place, but given the opportunity I would love to own both.

Honestly, now that Microsoft decided to drop DRM, I say Xbox One. To me, the PS4 just seems like an updated PS3. Not saying there isn't a difference, but I don't think they really put anything particularly special on it that they didn't already do with the PS3. Microsoft is expanding, and I like quite a bit of what they have done.

The GDDR5 Ram is a pretty substantial update.  This is extremely powerful, and not very cheap memory.  The $100 price change is a pretty big deal between the two as well.  I don't mean this rude at all, so please don't take it that way, but if you don't think the ps4 is changing from the ps3, how is the One changing from the 360?  Tv support, build in kinect?  I don't see a very big leap on Xbox one.

jparks34 : sure the Ram is good. But one thing that you have to think about is from the average parent perspective. Do you think that Sony is effectively showing how GDDR5 Ram is better than DDR3? When a huge percentage of buyers are going to be parents buying for their kids, most of them are not even going to look at that. But still, it is just an update, not really a new feature. So the GDDR5 isn't really an argument against the PS4 just being a vamped up PS3. 

As for a feature I personally like, being able to story unlimited information on the Xbox server. It used to be that you could only store MB per user. For the Xbox One, you get unlimited storage space rather than having to use my hard drive. Less space on the device means less hardware failure possibility, which would be true for pretty much any computing device. I would be able to store as many whole games, DLC, etc on the sever as I want to on my profile. That would make it easier to play my games on other devices (friend's) if I wanted to. Since I go to friends places pretty often, that would be pretty hand instead of having to take my hard drive to access my game progress.

Best part about that is that it is free for Xbox One users. Before, only gold members can use that feature. Free members can get unlimited storage in One's

I think the PS4 is better because I heard it might cost less than the Xbox One. I don't care what they do for the PS4, it will probably still be better than the Xbox One. Here's an example of why the Xbox One is a rip-off: I heard you can watch TV shows on it. Uhhhhh... it's a TV console! What's the point of watching TV on your Xbox One when you can just watch it on your TV?

I say PlayStation four because I don't think Xbox 720 will be different  from Xbox 360 so if I had to buy one I would buy PlayStation 4
