I am having an error with games where you double click the screen to bring up the option to change the controls. It's showing the control for up set to the Escape key. And when I click to change it to a different key on my computer or button on my controller it blinks but doesn't change. It stays on saying Escape. This IS a glitch as I've tried it on all my browsers and it kept doing the same thing on all of them.

Konekodemon : Yes some users report this issue with the Visual Boy Advanced emulator and we haven't been able to determine exactly why it's happening.

Which version of windows are you using?

The best way around this is to use the alternate emulator "Mednafen" To use, just load the game like you normally would. When the game window comes up, click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window labeled "Play using Mednafen"

The only drawback here is that your saves to not transfer over to the new emulator.

One good thing is that Mednafen supports full-screen by holding Alt+Enter on your keyboard with the game window active.

The alternative would be to go into your Vizzed directory and delete the .cfg file for the gameboy games and try to re-configure. That might fix the problem as well. The location of this directory on your hard drive differs depending on which version of windows you are running.

Konekodemon : So is this problem the same no matter which emulator you are using? I'm wondering how it can be the same no matter which console you are using since some of them have different control configuration steps than others.

Does this happen even when you use Mednafen as I described in my last post? Or does something different happen?

You could always try un-installing then re-installing the plugin.

I think staff fixed it now. So it wasn't me then. Since when the site was down for repairs it was fixed.

Konekodemon : Nothing with regards to the site maintenance should have changed anything with regards to the problem that you were experiencing.

The control config file is housed on your computer, so whatever the problem was, had something to do with something going on on your end.

Glad it was resolved though. If you have further questions regarding this problem, feel free to PM me directly.
