Well, we have all seen this video of Jadeveon Clowney's huge hit in the 2013 Outback bowl against Michigan. We all did think it was awesome, but now they are saying that his play was targeting and he would have been given a penalty and would have gotten ejected. Here is the video of the hit, then the video about the rule.


So, what do you think about this play and the new officiating that will be put into play? Post it here!

He happen to get a free shot because the guard and tackle completely missed him.  He's a subpar player with little skill, no serious defensive abilities for the Gamecocks, and he got one play in the limelight.

He's not particularly good, he's no cheapshot artist, he just doesn't get into anything serious on the field.  Offenses don't plan around him.  If I were that guy and I got a chance, I would have smashed that dude in the face too.

It's football, not pattycake.

warmaker : I love that! But, just a reference, in the Dragonball Z abridged version on Youtube, Nappa smashes some of the 'Heroes' when playing pattycake with them. ( Sort of ) But I do agree with that, the people who runs the NCAA football and NFL are taking this whole safety thing just way too far. I really hate what they have done to the game. Now it is loosing everything that it once had.
