Blue jersey minimum word count idea. Well I've seen and some what done my far share of really rather short replies to threads to gain points and posts towards getting the blue jersey so I've come up with this idea, should there be a minimum word count in a post like at least 25 words in the post  for a post to count towards the blue jersey? 

Personally I like this idea because it would cut down on the short some what spammy replies to earn posts towards the blue jersey.

That is what the green jersey is for: +30 word posts. Maybe a jersey for average word count with a minimum of 25 posts? And your highest red jersey post does not count? How about that?

As thing1 mentioned green jersey is for 30+ post.
Having blue just five words below green would make it way too similar.
If anything I would say post should be increased to at least 50 or 55 for blue.  and besides, it's the tour de vizzed,  this isn't the first time we have seen crud quality post, it won't be the last. why? because people are such in a freaking hurry to get some stanking colors. Posting competetions like the tour de vizzed, just rely on constant post without having a good amount of time, being put into them. Nuff said.

Yeah, I like the idea around this, but it does get a little too similar to the green jersey.  You might have to make the green jersey a little bit higher if you wanted to increase the word count for a blue jersey.  But then again, if you are making posts with a large enough word count you would be able to obtain both jerseys.  I think it should be just left as it is.  I do understand with what you are trying to say though.  I would definitely cut down on spammy replies.

I kinda like this idea, it would reduce the amount of spam but people can use signatures in their post to make words so that idea will not work

I actually was thinking the same thing just for a different jersey though.
Blue shouldn't have a minimum that would take the purpose of the green jersey.
Instead we should increase the minimum for the green jersey anybody can make thirty worded posts rather quickly.

I remember reading a post by Davideo saying "Your posts need to be at least 10 words otherwise it's technically spam." or something like that but it was 10 words or more.
There are so many short replies that are technically spam, everyone does it, so policing it would be rather difficult, so the mods and the like just let it go. I try to post at least 10 words ever since I've read that.
