So, what is Retsupurae? Well, it's two things. I'll explain what it is, and what it is NOT. Retsupurae is:

1. A channel with over 70,000 subscribers dedicated to making MST3K-style riffs of bad Let's Play videos and video games that beg to be made fun of.

2. A type of video made in the same style as Retsupurae, making fun of a bad Let's Play, flash game, or other sort of media.

Retsupurae is NOT:

1. A trolling effort. Though some of their fans may attempt to do so, they assume no responsibility for what their fans do and attempt to discourage them from doing that.

2. A bunch of jealous people who can't do Let's Plays and make fun of others because they can. Slowbeef and Diabetus, the instigators of it, have multiple completed Let's Plays under their belt, and are well-liked by most people who have watched them.

3. Maliciously attempting to hurt people with their commentary. Though it is sometimes rather harsh, it is, most of the time, still hilarious, and it's all done for fun and laughs.
