Hello there and welcome to my ramble

I am zippolover. I am not a fan of the cigarette lighters, rather I have an avatar that follows me everywhere and he is my little zippo. I get a newsletter from a rather irreverent board every week and they have a picture competition. One week it was to come up with an animal that was a mixture of at least two others. Among the strange and disturbing replies was a zebra striped hippo and it was love at first sight for me. I contacted the maker to get permission and have been using the picture ever since.

I am 57. An older single mother of three children aged 12, 14 and 17. The oldest is into retro games, so I followed her here.

To be honest, I would rather do anything than housework, so am always on the lookout for some excuse or other not to do it. I am on FunTrivia where I have over 30 quizzes online. If you would like to sign up, please ask for a link, because I could win a badge if I get enough takers!

I play games at IBPGamers.Com. I do have a Facebook page, but that is mainly because school closures due to winter weather go on there quicker than the official sites. I have written a book, but it is on a currently broken desk top computer. I keep saving up to get it repaired, but something more important usually comes along like the car needing fixing, the washing machine breaking down, or my children complaining that they have not eaten or their clothes no longer fit.

I like, in no particular order, otters, chocolate, computers, reading, writing, games, men, kittens, mice, rats, puppies, cats, liquorice, ginger, braised beef, pate, sunsets, rainbows and lots more, but I do not want to give too much information.

Welcome to Vizzed! Hopefully you enjoy the site. Just tell your children that you're doing important business and put a "Do Not Disturb" sign up.
