I'm just posting this to see what you guys would all think about having a weekly art(drawing and maybe photography??) competition.
I would be happy to run it. I have messaged Davideo about it and he said to post and see what others think about it.
We would have a prize - 500/1000Viz???
What do you guys think and got any suggestions????

I think weekly might be too often to get enough submissions to really make a contest out of it. It would probably end up being 3 or 4 people that would submit every week and no one else. Maybe if you made it a monthly thing that might get a better response from people. Give them time to really create something they like and submit it. Of course the prize would probably be higher (at least the 1000 viz, maybe more depending on how many people participate.... or maybe prizes for top 3).

I do like the idea. It would get the art and music forum into use . Let's see if anyone else is interested in being able to submit stuff to this. If you get 6+ people I figure it would be a pretty safe bet that you could get a good competition going.

Dude, I'm so down for this, I was actually gonna propose it, but didn't think anyone would be interested.
Though we would need someone to judge and I don't think that a participant should do it because one is usually biased in favor of their own work .

This would be great if we could get it off of the ground .
