Well in sonic advanced you can play as either Sonic, knuckles, Amy or tails and the point of the game is to collect rings and beat the stage as fast as possible and of course destroy/beat Eggman in his machines that he fights in. The stages are fun and creative and each stage has its own theme/style to it and the music really gets your mind set that you are in the world of sonic. Now collect rings often in this sonic game because rings are basically your life/extra lives, the more rings you have the more damage you can take.
