#SEGAFanboy #IGiveUpOnFixingMyErrors #BiasedOpinion #ILoveHashtags Sonic 2 I love it. I also grew up playing this game the most because it was my very FIRST game ever! The best game for the Genesis in my opinion. The world is controlled by can ya guess? Yep Bowser! Wait no I mean Dr. Ivo Robotnik So you, Sonic the Hedgehog and his adopted brother the two tailed fox Miles "Tails" Prowler. Oh didn't I mentioned that there is a new Character (the best and my favorite) Who is Sonic's side kick who doesn't really get to do much. (he's like Luigi in the Sonic series. Well basically) So how bout we get started with the Review already! Graphics-7 The Graphics Are great. Way better than the NES SNES. (I know the SNES had some games that were 3D but the colors were meh) Sonic Is way Past cool Looking And Tails Is even better Colors are right but the stages look better and the things that can hide in the back round can surprise you because of that.But the special stages that are in 3D (Yeah the special stages are in 3D) now the look like shape in real life with that sprite look ( kind of like Super Mario RPG) oh yeah and the explosions for Dr. Ivo Robotnik ( I refuse to call him Eggman but I do it all the time in the future) Are some thing that makes it a blast to destroy his Robot bosses ( That also look better ) that is a Explosive thing to see! Sound-8 The sound just amazing the boss theme has changed (like it always does) that is really catchy the music at the begging has change (I love both but just a little more for sonic 2 because it was my first video game) Green hill still has awesome music(it always does) and the music for the bonus stages just making you want to collect all the rings you can get to hear the epic music or just the chaos emeralds. The jumping sound and when you get items and their are some places where you just want to turn the sound off (wing fortress) and that sound when Tails (and/or) Sonic is about to drown I hate it. It is perfectly place but it scares me at times I mean I panic and run hoping that air bubbles or high ground. Addictiveness-9 The game is so awesome that you always want to play it again and the fact that you will die a lot Makes you want to play again an beat the game and some times for the nostalgia and trying to collect all the Chaos Emeralds all the ones that ARE OVER 9000! Nah there is only 7 of them. I love playing this game even though I have been stuck on the same part for most of my life (and still am). Size-6 The story is the same but this time Dr Eg- err I mean Dr. Ivo Robotnik Has a Ship (like the egg carrier in Sonic adventures 2 or 1) So you have to stop him before he uses the Death Egg That's on the ship I think that makes the sequel Sonic and Knuckles I think but that is for another review (if I can get off my butt) and you must destroy all of his robots to free as many Robotized animals (or is that only for the cartoons?) to free the animals but how come Sonic and Tails are the only humanoid figures that are not Humans (like Egg man) but I am getting off track. Depth-7 There are a lot of things to do Collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds get 99 lives any personal goals and its very long and hard! Wait did I say 7 well it is just very long so I am Going to change it. To. A 6. Difficulty-9 Now this game is long and hard Like water levels bosses (they are really planned out and makes you use your head) Its hard to get Extra Lives and you only get 1 continue It is hard to jump on platforms that are small and away really fast and If you do not know where to go this game is very hard and to get the all the Chaos Emeralds get harder each time and for me I am always 1 ring short from getting the last emerald) Overall-9.5 This game is very fun and I love it is like the most perfect game for the Genesis. I grew up with this so I might of made it sound better than it is but I do not think I did. But feel free to tell me. Now this is my ending. You might wanna change the text color, it's hard to read. But, it's a nice review. May need better punctuation though, because I saw a lot of run on sentences here. Fix those things, and it'll be good. |

paper luigi: Yikes! I don't mean to be rude, but your layout is kind of blinding and makes your review very, very hard to read. I had to go into reply mode to actually be able to see it. I would just fix that and get a new layout, or just disable your layout when making reviews. Awesome little experience starter. I like how you said it was your first game and that you grew up playing it. Those little personal experiences are really great to read and I want to credit you on that! There were a very grammatical errors and spelling errors in the first paragraph, I would just go back and fix the after you have read this feedback. Little things like 'mentioned' instead of 'mention', few capital letters where there shouldn't be. This can make a review look very unprofessional. Professionalism is very important in a review as it shows you take care of your work and are really dedicated to it.Some capital errors in graphics too. You said the graphics were awesome but didn't develop on it. You could have said "The graphics in this game were awesome as there was a great use of color and saturation, and there was also a lot detail put into each different stage in the game, especially the 3D ones." I would love to see this kind of stuff in your next review. I hope you work on that. You repeated the word awesome quite a lot. Fair enough it is a really 'awesome' word, but it doesn't say too much when you're repeating it. I would use words such as 'great','superb','fantastic'. They'll make a bigger impact on me, the reader. Overall, thanks for making this review, it was a great read and you should definitely continue making them! I definitely can say that this is one of my first games I ever played, period. Its gameplay is so fast, it gives Sonic's gimmick perfectly, and the rest of the game, notably Music and Level design is amazing. |

camjim12 : Thank you every much I have a great review according to every one. Even tough this game was not as great as Sonic CD's cut scenes that make it better than this game. (SONIC BOOM!) The way past cool game in my opinion is Injustice " Gods Among Us ". Its cool to me because the graphics are good and its easy to learn moves and do your special. |
