Basically, my Zombies Apocalypse Plan is when things start to get bad in my neighbourhood, I would grab my supplies in a bag (Food, many water bottles, some tools, and my baseball bat)  I like in Canada so it is harder to obtain a gun.  I would run into the woods near my house, which I know my way around really well.  I would stay there until things start to calm down, and if any zombies actually happen to wander into the woods, I've got my Baseball Bat.  Once things have calmed down, I would find a car and yes, this is where to tools come in.  I actually know how to hot wire a car.  It will just take a little bit of time so I'll have to scan the scene to make sure nothing will sneak up on me.  After I've got the car up and running, I will make my way towards and trailer park/ camp ground that I know of that is secluded in the middle in the woods.  It is a pretty small place so it would be pretty easy to clear any Zombies out.  After that, I will raid the trailers for some supplies and food, and hopefully things will take off from there.

I may have left some things out as I am still working on a plan.  I am not 100% done on this plan and I still need to figure out some things.  I may go down town and grab some more supplies and weapons like a machete because I know exactly where to get one.  It would hopefully be a quick in and out but I'm not sure if I should go into town just for the fact that there may be a lot of Zombies down there.  This is basically my plan at the moment and I am looking for some people to give me suggestions as well as some constructive criticism.

If you would like to as well, you could post your Zombies Apocalypse Plan here and I can give you some suggestions and criticism and maybe some other users will too.  Thanks

Lol, i like this thread. Good plan but how do you know your supplies will last till things calm down? And how will you know when things calm down if your out in the woods? And definitely grab the machete. Good plan though

Well, hopefully I would have grabbed at least three days worth of food and water.  Even if I don't have enough food, there is one part of the woods which there are houses that backs onto the forest.  If I can get into those houses then I can look for food.  That is also a way where I can see if things have calmed down.  I can get into the back yard, which all of them have fences, and I can peer over the fence onto the streets.  There is also a long road on another end of the forest where I can walk to and looks down it without have to expose myself as I can take a look down the road while still in the cover of the woods.

It's an interesting plan but when/where will you sleep?  Zombies go 24 hours a day and being the woods at night (in the winter?) could be trouble.  Also, what do you do to compete with other people who are trying to survive as well?

My plan?  Link up with the guy next door who has a two-level house.  If he's not available, the guy on the other side of the street has two levels too.  We'd figure a way to destroy or block the windows and doors and knock out the staircase to stop zombies from coming in.  I live in a crowded neighborhood in a mid-sized city so we cannot just sneak into the woods.  We're in a suburb outside of Detroit so supplies will last a long time.

I would board up the windows and doors and make an exit/entrance from the roof.  We'd have to have enough water for survival + sanitation and we'd have to figure out a way to heat the house.  I'd keep things very quiet and let nature take its course before we started figuring out what came next.  We'd probably start raiding nearby houses or linking up with people who were still alive.  We're not going after any zombies, we're just letting things figure themselves out.

warmaker : That's a pretty good plan. I'll have to revise mine from what you said but I have one question about yours. Of course there are going to be a lot of hostile people who will do anything they can in order to survive. Wouldn't you think a boarded up house would be a target to invade? People would assume people are living in there which only means more supplies for their survival. I'm not sure how reinforced it will be and maybe it won't even look any different from the outside but someone could still come along. And I guess another thing is, how close are you to your neighbours?

Hey I like your plan except I would say go to a department store you would have more tools/food

My plan is when I found out I would go to my friends house theres 3 of them then we'd go to their friends house who's grand father was in ww2 and has machetes and he hunts so he has guns then we would go to the 5 min. away walmart by car and raid on occasions and kill other survivors. We would not let anyone else enter our group . If we ever had to get away we could go to boston I live an hour away from there and we could live in the state office and fight off attackers this trip however would require a car and only one of us can hot wire.
