Well if you are only using Vizzed to play them then play Final Fantasy II, but if you mean on any system try out Final Fantasy 4, 6 or 9. They have good storys and are not to difficult, well as RPGs go anyway.
Also good are 8 and 10.

I would have to agree 4,6, and 9 are good for their stories, the most popular for people is 7, but personally 8 to me is better, 10 is a beautiful one, well made so much to its creation too you should get into it. Just not 10-2...yuck....

But another that DarkHyren didn't name that I suggest is Final Fantasy Tactics for the playstation or the recreated one for the PSP. I would also have to suggest 12 if you really want to kill time......I mean REALLY want to kill time...such a big game....so much to do...it's crazy...I think it's too big for my liking, but yeah thought I'd add that.

Pick VIII, its the best FF IMO, and isnt overwhelmingly easy either, but not exactly easy. Or Crisis Core, it has a really nice story, and definitely the best ending, even though its pretty sad, in all of FF.

I was disappointed when I played it, most of the characters were crappy looking, the battle system sucked, It just didn't have the FF vibe, It reminded me more of chrono trigger fused with fantasy star, those are both good games too but they just don't mix

Oh yeah, probally worth a mention that Final Fantasy 9 actually does have some links to another FF game.
FF9 has some plot elements that refer to FF1, albeit FF9 is in the far future, so it is the next logical choice to play if you are going for continuity.
Plus its an awsome game

I personally think you should start from the very beginning and work your way up. That's what I'm going to do after I finish XIII. I'm going to start at one and work in order all the way up and see how long it takes me and really see how much they've changed through the years...
