qazx : Here's an alternate version of a story I heard a long time ago:

A man was sitting on the roof of a building and discovered that his wife had once again packed him a tuna salad sandwich.  He declared, "If my wife packs me this lunch again, I'm going to jump off this building!"  The next day, he had the same lunch, so he jumped off the building.

Another man was sitting on the roof of the building next to the other guy's and discovered that he had the usual lunch, spaghetti and meatballs.  He too jumped off his respective building the next day.

Another man sat on the building across the street eating a microwaved cheese quesadilla.  He made his declaration for the world to hear and jumped off the building the next day after eating the cheese quesadilla.

One large funeral was held for the three of them, since they knew each other well.  Their wives mourned for them, lamenting that if they hadn't given their husbands that particular lunch that day, they would still be alive.  One wife; however, although filled with sorrow over her husband's death, noticeably refrained from such conversation.

Why?
