My couple of questions.

Firstly, I wasn't sure where to post this so feel free to move to relevant page or delete once questions have been answered

1 ) I have, without realising got my 7 year old daughter hooked on Pokémon and now she wants to join this site and start playing, so was just wondering what the age limit is, as my ex is concerned about swearing in chat when playing it online.  Which also ties in with question number

2) my friend tells me that you can download the games and play them off line too, so would this disable the chat thus calming my concern of my daughter possibly reading a swear word in chat.

I know I can protect her for ever but just don't want her learning all the wrong stuff at early age.

There isn't an age limit for this site, so it would be OK for your daughter to sign up. And you can play the games offline. But there is a way to not use chat during the game online. Under the huge text that says, "PLAY GAME" there is smaller text under it that says "Play game w/out chat box". A good reason for your daughter to register is that once you register there aren't any advertisements next to your game I hope that helped!

noraek : Well, this seems like a really tricky situation there. Anyways I'll try to help you out.



1. There is no age limit so you don't have to worry about that.

2. There is also an option to play a game without the chat box.

3. A lot of people on vizzed wouldn't swear or do anything wrong because they're aware of the rules but I can't guarantee that so just let your daughter play the game without the chat box better.

I will have one happy daughter. And as she like me in every way, she will soon be beating me on Pokémon.  not in the sense that she can beat me in game but shell have trained them up higher and different moves .
