My new favorite planet would have to be Jupiter. It is a huge planet, and it would actually seem really cool to live at if you think on it. The temperature, is kind of cold, but it is nothing that can kill you. That is the planet that replaces Mars from the spot of my favorites. I could technically go back to loving Mars though.

Pluto. I still consider Pluto a planet, and it is my favorite because it is always left out.

I would have to say earth since we live on it. I am just kidding my favorite besides earth is mars. It always puzzled me how red it was and maybe how aliens can live on it when there is no water there.

Jupiter - the gas giant. - it's mass is 2 1/2 times all of the other planets in our solar system combined - Plus, it's primarily composed of hydrogen so I like to believe (it may not be true) that if that gas were ignited Jupiter would become some kind of mini star. Unfortunately for earth if this happened the gravitational pull of the new star would probably tear the Earth apart and wreck our solar system. Neat-o!

zeross121 : Venus is not a gas planet. It is a terrestrial (rocky) planet just like Earth is.

I have always been a Jupiter guy. Gas planets in general fascinate me. It amazes me how we have not even been able to get a probe 1/3 of the way into Jupiter because the pressure crushes them. Imagine the core. It is theorized that instead of a solid iron core like terrestrial planets, gas giants have a hydrogen core crushed so tight, it is hydrogen in solid form. Incredible.
