Yes, I have gotten into a couple minor accidents before, but as for any major accidents (the ones with injuries and deaths), I haven't gotten into any of those accidents.

Hello there & How are you? I'm super duper! ..

Luckily I've never been in an accident and I really pray for those who have. I've come close to an accident in the past though, with a small minivan on the motorway, but we backed up safely and got out of the way. I can only say .. Thank God for that!

Once when I was eight I was in accident. We were travelling on a highway and a deer jumped into the middle of the row and just stood there. No one was injured, but the car was wrecked. Other than that I have never been involved in any accidents.

Almost, a few months ago, I was coming home from school and I was turning and somone smashed the back of the car. There was not very bad damage but it was scary. I don't want it to happen again!

Yeah I actually been in more than one accident. My first one was when I was little, and I was coming from McDonald's with my Ice cream when some Jack hammer with a big truck came zooming down the road. Keep in mind I had my ice cream. Well we were coming out the parking lot he hit us, ad my ice cream cone flew every where. I demanded him to buy me a new ice cream, and yes I did get it. My other accident, is when I broke my leg. I was on the side of my big brothers car as he was backing out the drive way, My foot got caught under the wheel, and my whole leg eventually got stuck under. The bad thing is I was about to miss the week I had to take Tcap. The good thing is I didn't miss it. It was the week after that, and by then my leg was healed up, and I was able to go to school. Well it wasn't entirely healed though, nut I could go to school. I got all the attention, and post cards telling me all types of nice things. That was really cool right .

generalspleen : The accident that injured me at all didn't involve a motor vehicle, I don't like using them, Just my Bicycle, Unless you mean my Bike and I'm just being an idiot, But believe it or not I haven't recovered completely from my injuries, My hip still has pain years later, Nothing I can't live with, I mean... I do serious competitive boxing, But I still have to keep an eye on my hip, But life's life isn't it? It what doesn't kill you that makes you stronger, Or at least that's what I hear, All I know is that every little thing that has happened to me has shaped who I am, And I'm okay with that, As always, Enjoy your time, You've only got so much.

Wow!!! So many comments on my thread... This is gonna take some time to reply back lol. Here goes nothing...
Supernerd117: I'm sorry to hear that that happened to you. It must have been hard on you and your whole family. I'm glad you were able to get out of your depression. It's hard to get out once you've been in one for so long. And please send my condolences to the family of the person who died. It may not mean much coming from me but it still might help.
Thing1: well I'm glad you weren't injured in the accident. I'm sorry to hear about your back being messed up... If you don't mind me asking... How did your back get I injured?
Razor-987: I'm sorry to hear about that. I'm glad no one was injured. And yes there are stupid people out there doing stupid stuff like that behind the wheel. They shouldn't be allowed to drive of they do that stuff... Period.
Crazycaypup: I think what your talking about is the center console part of the car. Did your aunts boyfriends cousin get any head trauma from hitting his head or no?
IgorBird122: well I'm glad no one got injured in those accidents you were in
Dean2k13: I'm doing good dean... Thanks for asking I'm glad that you haven't been in any accidents. And I too pray for the ones who have been injured in accidents. And I'm glad that mini van didn't hit you... Thank God indeed
Eniitan: I'm sorry to hear that!!! That's not good!!!! We're you seriously injured in any of those accidents? I would be scared too. I know one day you will conquer your fear of driving
Victor-E: yeah I hate deer who do that... But I'm glad nobody was injured in the accident
Barathemos: well I'm glad it wasn't anything serious and I would be scared too. I wouldn't want that to happen ever again either.
Linkmaster99: I'm sorry about those accidents. It's a shame that ice cream got murdered but at least u got a new one and nobody was hurt. And for the second accident I'm sorry that happened. I'm glad you didn't miss your Tcap (which I don't know what that is lol) and at least you were able to go to school and be popular!!! I guess that's a plus side to your story
Frodlex: well it kinda did involve a motor vehicle since one hit you right? And I'm sorry to hear that your not completely recovered yet. Do you know how long that will take? And I've always wanted to box but was never given a chance. Just make sure you guard ur hip or that could become really bad. And you're right... What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, so live life to the fullest because you only have one.
*wipes sweat off of forehead* that took forever to type on my phone lol. I bet by the time I post this more people would have posted more lol. Keep posting your stories and I'll do my best to reply to all of them until there are too many to reply back at once lol. And thank you all for your input I really am glad for all the support to this thread. Thank you all and I can't wait to hear more
Thank you very much and have a blesses day

Light Knight : I like to summon the person I reply back to so they can see what I say to them. Plus I usually ask more questions when I summon people back after I replyed to their posts on my or anyone else's threads. It's just how I am I guess. And thank you for summoning all of them for me. For some reason when I try to do it off my phone it won't summon properly and I don't always have access to a computer unfortunately but thank you again for summoning them for me

Technically I have been in only one accident so far, but it wasn't with anybody else. About 6 or so years ago, when I was still in college, I had a little Ford Focus. My driveway back then had a small hill in it and I parked at the bottom and my dad parked his truck, a Ford F250, at the top. Every day my dad left for work around 5am or so, and I always had my first class at noon. Usually when I go to school, my dad is already gone to work so I just back my car out of the driveway and drive off (duh).

Well...one day my dad got home early from work, and I got in my car to go to school. Most of the time, I didn't look back to check if there were any cars coming until I got to the end of the driveway. When I stepped on the gas to back out this time...BOOM! I hit my dad's truck with my car. I thought what any person would probably think at that time (and I won't say what it was). When I got out to check the damage, my back bumper was practically dragging on the ground, but when I looked at my dad's truck...guess what I saw? Absolutely nothing! That impact didn't do anything to my dad's truck. I felt relieved and upset at the same time.

Anyway, that's the only time I ever got into an accident. Like I said before, at least I haven't hit anybody else...yet.

MattyIce : That is both a relief and an upsetting moment. Trucks are built to wistand minor hits without causing hardly any damage. That why you never really see a construction company drive regular cars around. They aren't as reliable as trucks. And I hate to say that since I'm not a big fan of trucks but its true. And you said that you parked your car at the bottom of the hill and ur dads truck on the top of the hill right? When I pictured that I saw your car behind your dads truck and your dads truck parked up by the garage... But then again I live in area that has driveways like that lol. I'm just glad you and your dad were ok
Light Knight: Ah ok. Maybe you could ask a mod to figure out why it's not allowing us to summon people. And if you are a mod I wasn't trying to put you down. I promise.

Well yes, sort of. You see, my friend is not a great driver. I give him a hard time about it all the time. He had this old school pick up truck and he drove stick, but he was not good at driving stick and his truck would stall sometimes, so the fact that his truck also drove sketchy made things even worse. Anyways, it was winter here in Canada, so there was a blanket of fresh snow on the road, making for slippery driving conditions. My friend drove through a light that was about to turn yellow, when in the middle of the intersection, his truck stalled. He managed to get it up and going again, but the wet snow made his tires spin from under him and he swerved left to right and barely managed to get out of the intersection when the other light turned green. That was our close call for the night. So when we were going home, the conditions had gotten bad again, because it snowed, the snow melted, and then it snowed over top of the wet snow so the roads were especially slippery at that point. my friend turned to pull onto my street because he was dropping me off. He hit a wet patch of snow and did a 360 and popped the curb and the car stopped in between a stop sign and a fire hydrant and was a few inches from hitting someones fence. It was really intense and that was the closest thing to a car accident I have gotten into. My friend has gotten into a few accidents since that day and both he and his girlfriend (who is not a great driver either) have both gotten new cars, due to car accidents. None of them have any injuries from their car accidents though thankfully.

Oh and by the way spleen, this is the kind of thread that will get a lot of responses. Make threads that everyone can relate to.

Now on to my other story.

So when I was in high school, I did something called co-op, which is working in exchange for school credits. If it is available at your school, I suggest you do it. Anyways, I walk home from the co-op placement which is maybe a 20-30 minute walk for me, which is about what I am used to, because I have always walked places. So I would cut through a Tim Hortons plaza when I would walk home from the co-op placement. One day I was walking along the side walk, and I was about to cut through the plaza when a car pulled out of the plaza and onto the street really fast and drove straight into another car that was waiting at a red light. The cars collided and were maybe a foot from me when this accident happened. I was fine, but it was a really close call, especially because I was not in a car. The car that got hit had a dent in the side of it and the person who's car was hit was flipping out and swearing at the guy who pulled out of the plaza because there was no room for him to go and he just drove right on through and straight into the car that was sitting at the red light. There was absolutely no logic for this car to have driven onto the street, since there was no room and plenty of cars were waiting at the red light in front of and behind the car that got hit. It was ugly, but I am very glad I got out of there unharmed because clearly this driver was clueless, reckless or out of control. Any of those adjectives should not be words to describe someone who is driving a car, since they are very powerful and can be very dangerous as well.
Well yes, sort of. You see, my friend is not a great driver. I give him a hard time about it all the time. He had this old school pick up truck and he drove stick, but he was not good at driving stick and his truck would stall sometimes, so the fact that his truck also drove sketchy made things even worse. I had an accident last year with my car. My friends and I went to the Poconos to go to the Pocono Go-Kart place. Well, I got lost and instead of turning around on a side road, I headed into a church parking lot and smacked into a metal pole because I was in a panic and I didn't stop to park and think what to do next. Now, note my friends and I live in NY. So, we had to drive from PA to NY and we had to duct tape the front part of the car to hold the front end up. Well, after I brought the damaged car back, I had a fender bender and a destroyed wheel well. It cost me $2,100 and I was without a car for 3 weeks. I had to go to college that following week after the accident and I didn't get my car back until after Labor Day.

Let's just say I was happy to make it back to NY in one piece. I was also happy none of my friends got hurt. Because of that, I'm extra cautious on the road.

generalspleen : I almost was when we were getting into a gas station. But where I live, accidents are rare! (Not really, we always see them) But I've never been in one. Unless having to transit from Seattle to get to New York on the plane counts.

Surprisingly, no, I have never been in an accident in my life. It's probably thanks to my parents actually being good drivers. Or I'm in a smaller neighborhood.
