You didn't state that it would be a 50/50 Split between you both? So he got $55 and you have $45?

well think of this the store is really not important. Think about what the riddle says. He can see everything since hes in the middle of the world. What color bear could he possibly see if it walks past the SOUTH side of the house. Hint think of the direction.
