So, as of recently I were able to save quite a good bit of money (so far got R$206,00 ~= $103), and were thinking which kind of PC shoudl I get? I know I need a computer with a great RAM, HD, Processor, graphics card and etc, and most importantly, get Windows 7 Ultimate instead of Windows 8, but I were thinking, should I get a notebook or a desktop.

With the notebook computer, I could take the computer everywhere, perfect if I were to visit my uncle, where there is a large dose of boredom, but I will have less mouse abilities (Online games would be more like a no-go, but I don't really play them much anymore), and maybe the internet service I put on it could have the same effect as the desktop computer

With a desktop computer, I could stay here to use the internet, I wouldn't be able to take the computer anywhere, but I would have all my mousing skills and the Internet have a higher (considering my current desktop PC) of working normally.

So, which kind of PC should I get once I have enough money for it? And which specs of the computer should I try to find?

I'm not entirely sure about the specifications should be, but I would get a laptop. (Is a laptop a notebook?) It's just more convenient than a desktop because you don't have to keep it in one place. You can also buy a mouse and plug it in to your laptop.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say a desktop has higher Internet capabilities. I never noticed any difference. If you want to plug the computer straight to your router then you can just get a cable for it.

The computer I would recommend you buy is a windows 8 Toshiba laptop or the new Microsoft surface, but then again you can't go wrong with the simple yet stylish Windows 7 XP laptop.

I dont understand why you want 7 professional, home is fine for you, andcheaper. plus home pcs dont come with ultimate.
its for business use.
less mouse abilitys? how? just buy a mouse...
online games a no go.
that depends. if youre uncle has nettyou can use it.it.if you get a 3g dongle you can use internet anyway.
Internet service have same effect as desktop computer.
you will need to explain that one to me.
dont know why you think desktops handle internet better. thats incorrect.
earthwarrior :
a netbook is the exact same as a laptop. the manufacturers just changed the name so people will think, a netbook, i dont have that, it must be better.

Well, I am using a Vista right now, so...I have something you should get.

-at least 3 GB RAM
-Quad Core processor
-laptop (duh)
-Windows 7 regular
-32-64 bit color

Well, that is my poinion on what you should get.
You would probably have to get it custom made, which takes a month or two at Walmart.

I'm used to work as IT, so I can help you with that, but first, I'd like to ask some questions.

What's the use you intend to have for it? internet, casual gaming? Hardcore gaming? Video recording, streaming?

How much money do you want to spend? to recommend parts, I'll need to have a price as a parameter. This way I can try to find the best cost-benefit.

Also, when it comes to OS, Windows 7 Home and Ultimate don't really make a difference for a casual user, so you should consider the cost to install the OS, which is pretty high if you want the original. Unless you know someone who can format your computer and install Win7 Ultimate for free using probably non-orthodox methods. (That might also possibly bring you trouble in the future aka "This copy of the Windows Isn't Original").

Cheers.

mvhupsel : Sorry for taking long to answer this, Skype didn't let me.

So about your question, I'm going to say I want the computer to make up for the LONG time I've been having a bad computer, I plan on using the PC to record, livestream, and play games, most probably I would create to myself a youtube channel, I would become a youtuber.

About the price, the cheaper the computer, the better.

Seishiro Leonhart : Okay, here's the catch... Streaming requires a good system, since it demands a lot from your computer and by that I really mean A LOT.

A computer capable of Streaming actual games with graphics on Medium to High in Full HD would have to be at least An I5 2500k (I would reccomend the 3570k though, but it's more expensive), with 8gb of memory and a Geforce GTX 650 (Ti Boost version is preffered). You would also need a case and a PSU of at least 500w with 80 Plus certification. You would also need a good motherboard. That is the cheapest configuration I can think of, for streaming purposes. This config would cost around 3000-4000R$ here in Brazil, if you take in consideration how expensive things are here, thanks to taxes.

If you don't plan on streaming, You would just need an I3 2105 (I'd say 3220, but again, it's a bit more expensive). You wouldn't need more than 4GB of ram either, and A Geforce GTX 550 Ti would be enough. A PSU of 400w with 80 Plus is enough for this one. This configuration can record videos perfectly fine, since it doesn't takes so much of your system, as opposed of streaming. It would cost around 2000-2500R$ here.

If needed I can recommend motherboards and give further details on what are it's features, it's memory frequencies and the socket type, etc...

Also remember, I'm just considering the Hardware, we say CPU here, but it's wrong. Things such as mouse, keyboard, speakers, monitor, printer etc... weren't taken in consideration, but those can be of any brand, doesn't matters, cheapest or expensive, won't interfere on the performance. It'd cost an extra 1000-1500$ if you want them to be good though.

A good computer is expensive, Those were the cheapest options I could think of, in order to be able to let you do what you said you wanted to. Hope it helped somehow.

Cheers.

Seishiro Leonhart : Personally, I prefer Toshiba or Dell. Don't get an Apple Product laptop. All you will be doing is paying money for a big name brand thing. Besides, I don't like how they don't have a right click, and the way the screen is, or the way it operates.
