SNES is definite win here. Better selection of games, better quality games, more hacks (since I know you like your hacks Davideo ), more RPGs.

Hell, I really should just say Chrono Trigger, Lufia, Megaman X, FF 3/6, etc. and that should give you your answer.

The games are played using an online java emulator. Not many emulators are made in java and most of the ones that are made in java cannot be played online. So, the whole point of this is to figure out what system is worth hiring a coder to have converted into an online java emulator.

Yeah that's the one thing I like about the GBA solution is that it's 32 bits which means it's more powerful.

I did some research the other day and it turns out that someone is already working on an online GBA emulator but I didn't find anything on a development project for an online SNES emulator so that alone makes the SNES a wiser choice.

I voted GBA because I know it better, but I did so without much thought and now agree with the majority that SNES would be better though hard to play some games if you don't have a PC controller(games such as MK 3), and so depending on how old this older crowd is this point may not matter. Either way I think this is a good Idea as I've searched for both to no relief.

But yeah, this new game room I've put hundreds of hours into for the past few hours and it's still under construction but it's very near completion.

Well thats a difficult one.
I prefer GBA mainly because of the pokemon games.
But there is a lot of emulators for them on the internet and not many SNES. Nearly all of them you need to download.
