It seems like the A button for SNES and NES is stuck, but the key I'm using it for works just fine, even for other systems,  When I try to change the button configuration, the window freezes.  It started when I was quickly loading save states.  Now, every time I start a game, the character jumps at the beginning of the game without the button being pressed, and won't ever jump again.  It's as if the button is being held down, but it's not.  Is there a way I can correct this?  And also, could you give me some advice about the save states and loading them so I can avoid this in the future?

Also, I apologize if there is already a thread like this, but I don't know how I would go about making sure there wasn't a similar thread, as I did not see a space to enter tags for a thread search.  If there is a quicker way to do this other than going through the entire list of threads, or way you prefer people to go about this, would you mind informing me?  Thank you.

Not sure what happened with your buttons but try to re-configure them if that doesn't work try to connect your controller ( game pad) again
not sure if you use one.

As for the save states you should try not to over use them your game could possibly crash/freeze.

Hope this gives you some help.

Well, the problem went away on its own for a while, seemingly after my computer updated a few things.  But, now it's happening again, this time, without any obvious connection to save states.  Unfortunately, I don't have a controller, just a keyboard.  I even cleaned out the keys recently.  I don't know.  Maybe my keyboard is glitchy. :/

When I try to reconfigure the controls, the emulator becomes unresponsive, and when I input controls, it doesn't do anything, and I have to exit the window.
