Why in every game, the surroundings of Peach's Castle keep changing?

My guess would be Bowser often attacks it so it has to be rebuilt. Second, the game developers have to change it to fit the graphics of the game platform. Lets face it I would not want a NES castle in a Super Nintendo game. The reason because the SNES has better graphics and thus the castle will need to look like the rest of the game.

They keep changing because the kids who play the game don't realize that, whereas we analyze these things and see the differences that the children can not see, since they just want to play the game.

I think it is because the castle keeps getting rebuilt, or the game makers really do not care about keeping the Mario games consistent, as they are not very story integrated like Zelda.
