My Favorite game is yellow so I always have pikachu, Charizard, Venasaur, and Blastioise. The last two get tricky. I usually have any two of the following; Snorlax, Hitmonchan, Nidoking, Pidgeot, Machamp, or Aerodactyl.

My team's first four were the same as yours as I'm sure was most players, my last two, I reserved for Alakazam and Dragonite. If you can't trade for one, just replace him with Machamp, I used him a lot in my other saved file.

the team i normally use in yellow is pidgeot, butterfree, charizard, blastoise, venusaur, and pikachu. if you teach blastoise ice beam and are leveled up or have tons of potions lol you can beat the elite four fairly easily.
