Once again, here is another review from me, Linkshade 121. I will be reviewing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This game was the first 3-dimensional game in the Zelda Series, setting a reputation for it in the years to come. This was the best Zelda game I ever played from the N64 era so I might as well review it. Okay, Let's get started. Graphics-10 What can I say, this game is really good quality. Actually seeing Link make a real sword slash, I am saying I might never go back to 2D games. If you knew me, I am a medieval maniac who is a big nerd when it comes to this stuff and with good graphics like these, I am able to perform new sword techniques. It's not just Link's attacks, but also Ganondorf's. Now I know what your thinking, why would Like his attacks even though he is an evil tyrant who nothing to do but kidnap maidens? I just like the animation, I never said I liked his style of doing things. Okay, I think I spent to much time, let's move on. Sound-10 Really good quality music I hear from this. It sounds like Wii quality music and I am not just saying this to trick you into playing the game, why would I do that? It sounds just like it could have been done for a present day system (hint. First glasses free 3d game system). Like I said in the last review, you may have a different opinion when it comes to this stuff. So really, I would just give it a ten. Addictiveness-10 Your soul desire to save the sages, solve puzzles, and face lots of monsters make this game really addicting. Whenever I finish the game, I started all over again. I think this may be the 5th time I restarted my game. I don't know what it is, but maybe it is the living super gamer inside of me that wants to be the best of all time. That's why I would say this is a game I will never stop playing, and that's saying a lot. Story-10 There are two story arcs in this game. One arc is when to collect the spiritual stones to stop Ganondorf's plot to take over Hyrule and when you fail, you go to the temple of light to bring up the master sword. That's when the second arc comes, you are too young to be the hero of time so you are sealed inside the sacred realm for seven years. After awaking, you have to go through another set of dungeons to save the sages of grass, fire, water, shadow, and spirit. Probably one of the best stories a Zelda game can possibly hope to have. Depth-10 There is lots of things to do in this game. Many of them I already mentioned but you can fish, dive for rupees, go on a grave digging tour, do time trials with Epona, bombchu bowling, horseback archery, and the target range game in kakariko village. Many things in this game I loved. I wonder if I will ever to everything there has to do, I don't know. One thing's for certain, this game is really big. Difficulty-5 This game features a variety of dungeons to go through. You solve the puzzles, defeat enemies, and try to find the weakness of the boss. What I thought was the most challenging boss in the game was barinade which took me an entire month to defeat. After that the game just got easier from there. Then again, that's just my opinion but may have second thoughts. Now let's get to the overall rating, drum roll please? Overall-9.2 Overall, I give this game a 9.2. Don't ask me why their are decimals involved, it is just a 9.2 for the reasons above. What is your opinion? Leave a reply in this thread and rate it. Also ask me what game I should review next. This is Linkshade, being sucked back into the game.
