Whoever thinks Allah and the Christain God are the same.

You dont know much about religion..... The gods ae the SAME people. The profits or 'messengers' are different. Thats what makes them different religions. Muhamad made the Karan. Thats his messege. Other people made the bible. Thats Jesus's messege.

They are the same, I am sorry to dissappoint you. All three have roots in the Old Testament. Muhammed can be traced by blood back to Abraham and Ishmael. Allah, Yaweh, and Theos are the same God but he is called differently by his people. Christianity and Islam both split off from Judeism because they differed in opinion, much like the Protestants did with the Catholic church.

The Christians believed that Christ was the son of God, the Jews did not (they are still waiting for who they believe is the true Messaiah). The Muslims split because they believed that Muhammad was the Prophet of God, but the Jews did not. The Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the the son of God either, they believe that he was a Prophet like Muhammad was.

All of that is documented, historical fact. I am sorry if you do not want to accept it, but it is the truth. I took a college Anthropology class that focused entirely on religion, I have talked to members of all three faiths, and it is all true.

And for the record, saying that the Christian God is kind and loving is not exactly true. Look at the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Burning Times. That is not a loving God.

Now, back on topic a bit, I myself am Wiccan. There are quite a few simularities between us and the other big religions, even though we only have two "commandments" so to speak.

Basically, we are peaceful, we do not harm others. That in and of itself dispells the myth that we use Witchcraft to curse people or to sacrifice thing. It is a general rule of most if not all Pagan religions. Satanists don't even sacrifice things (it shocked me to learn about it, but it's true). Of course they are not Pagans, so meh.

The Threefold law is basically Karma, which is also in Buddhism and in a lesser degree most other religions. What you do, good or bad, comes back to you but more powerful. So if you do something bad, like curse someone with magick, then it will come back to you and something will happen that is even worse than what you did to them. I learned that one firsthand when I was younger. However, if you do good things then that positive energy will return to you in the form of something even better. That is why most Wiccans are such good people, we do not like to harm others, and we like to help people so that good will come back to us. I'm sure you can see the simularites to other religions yourself.

Belial feel free to add more if you want or to point out anything I got wrong. I don't know how long you've been practicing, but yeah it is always good to confirm with others. I've been practicing almost 6 years myself.

Wicca is different with each person, because every person has their own values and opinions on certain aspects. Like gods for example.

Every person has the same energy as Wiccans do, Wiccans just use it more. Christians use it when they pray. The joy of being Wiccan is that it's all very Earth-based.

I've only been practicing for 4 years, but two of my close friends have been studying makick for 8 or so years. One's an Oracle (or High Priest), and the other is a High Priestess. They're so powerful... The Oracle can erad minds... x.x it's crazy. I was lying in the grass.. there were several people around, and he made me feel like a hippy because he said, 'someone's thinking about flowers and trees.' which was me..

Yes they are the have the same aspect of god but there are alot of differences to. Because the rules of the bible are different from the karan and the way you have to worship is different and why the way you have to worship is different is from the quran and bible. In the quran it tells you many rules like to pray at certain times a day and it tells you to take a once in a lifetime journey to the holy provence. and then it says give to the poor for hope of them getting wealthy and for the poor when they get wealthy to do the same.
in the bible it does not say the same it has alot of gray area it says to in the kindness of heart.... Ok stuff like that the only rules in the bible that i can thnik of that do not have gray area is the ten commandments and the thing against gays.

THANK YOU. Finally someone with some college in them. I based my facts upon another person who took college courses in religion... the god of politics Mr. Ryan. Even tho i dont agree with his political agenda he is a great debater and can and will win any debate you have with him. So people tried to deny him this very fact that i told you and he shut them down so fast you could even see them hit the floor

SIGH they are not the same god if they were then why is there so much violence... they have the same aspect of god. But God is not the same as Allah and other gods they are not the same. Two what about mythology they have gods but are they the same... They have the same aspect of someone being greter than humans but they are not the same .. that is my point.

Well, in my faith Cheesemac those gods are the same. Big case in point: the Romans and the Greeks... Romans took the Greek pantheon and changed most of the names... same gods. I know I explained my believes at some point on this board, I'm not getting into it here.

But once again, you act like Christians do not commit violence. Wake up and look at your history books! There is violence because humans are stupid and prone to act violently because they have been trained to do so by society. Violence has nothing to do with religion, it is a human problem and only human.

um where in my message did i say christians do not cause any violence if you have read every post i have made you would realize i did not say such a thing in fact i supplied some info about christian radicallest in a terrorest group. So dont misinterperate what i said.. what i said was why do you think there is violence... not why do you think there is violence caused by non christian groups. Then i said they had the same aspect of god. and that they are not the same. And when i was talking about mythology i meant zeus is not the same as Apollo zeus was the god of weather but apollo was the god of art and literature and science. Do you see a similarity or do you see the same aspect of a greater being. and zues is nothing like god. yeah he is a god but hes just the god of weather and the god of all gods the god of christianity and some other religions is just the only god thats it.

Also what i mean is if people argue whether or not there god is the right god is a human thing but it does have to do with arguement. like baptist people and catholics may think of some differences of there god but really there is not much difference the only difference is whats in the bible. In there version. Now Muslims and christians dont think there god is alike at all other than there aspect of god.
