I really liked this movie a great deal. I didn't realize, until the end of the movie,
that this was a prequel to the "Alien Franchise" (blew my mind). Even though
there were hints about it through out the movie, I missed all the clues. Like the
android, that later becomes the Bishop model in the Alien movies. The murals
and the carvings on the walls, inside the room they enter with the canisters,
actually show the xenomorph alien from the Alien movies. The name "Weyland
Industries" should have gave it away, but I still had no idea. Even the name of
 the planet they are on, hints that they are in the planet system where the movie
Aliens take place. After watching the movie I felt that it was about time that 
another Alien movie was made, even if it was a prequel. Let me know what you
think.

Errr, personally... I thought it was one of the more overrated movies of 2012. The plot didn't make much sense, I couldn't tell if David was a good guy or a bad guy. The special effects were breathtaking, though.

It was a pretty good rebirth of the franchise, but I am looking forward to part two of the trilogy as the two remaining survivors (Robo head and the lead Indiana Jones girl, so to speak) head to "Paradise" the home planet of the white Super Aliens!!
