I am having an hard time recruiting pokemon.

All you have to do is, well, buy or have the Friend Area for the corresponding Pokémon. Each Pokémon has an, ahem, "recruit rate", which is basically the chance you have to recruit them. There are rumors raising the rate on some Pokémon, but, really, I think the only way to raise the rate is a) have a high level or b) use the Friend Bow.

Basically, you just need to have to:

- Have the right Friend Area
- Have the Pokémon think you're strong and friendly (recruit rate)
