There's now a box on the forum index page that shows the latest actions of the friends on your list. It is limited to showing the last 10 actions and it'll only show 1 action per a user based on a specific kind of action. In other words, if I make 2 threads back to back, it'll only show the most recent thread I made. It will show more than 1 kind of action a specific user does though; for example, if I make a thread and also a review thread, it'll show both.

Here's the actions it'll show:
-Reviews
-Threads
-Articles
-Walkthroughs
-Netplay Sessions
-Profile Updated removed
-Donations

I personally love this feature. It gives the Friends List another purpose and it helps you keep track of what your friends have been doing. Plus it'll help your friends know about the things you do. For example, before if you created a netplay session, it'd take a while for a user to find out. Now if you create a netplay session, you're friends will notice and are more likely to join you. Another example, before if you created a thread, sometimes it would take a while before someone posts in it and sometimes the thread might not get posted in at all (which is why some users summon a lot of users to their newly created thread). Now when you create a thread, you're friends will notice which will increase the number of replies your threads get.

EDIT: I just made it so that you can see the last 50 actions by clicking the link at the bottom of the box.

Anyway, I approve this new feature, but now that you pushed the user personal info to the left, I can't remember what was on that box now D=

I noticed that earlier, and I think it's totally awesome.  I do like it.  What does it mean though, if a thread is listed after someone's name, and nothing else?  Were they viewing it, posting in it, etc?  I'm guessing that means they posted in it, but some of the threads I saw today were very old.  I'm guessing it's just been a long time since those people posted, and so it's showing the last thread they posted in, even if it was over a month ago?

Seishiro Leonhart : That box used to be a pointless list of some of the systems here. It was pretty much a placeholder anyway.
Singelli : If a thread is listed under someones name it means they MADE the thread. If you mean on the friends list on the right side then it means they are viewing it.

It would however be a good idea and would clear up confusion if it said "Created Thread" instead of just "Thread"

Seishiro Leonhart : Vizzed has always been very community driven. I've always wanted it to feel like a virtual family, sorta like a virtual town or a virtual house. This will help users feel more connected with each other.

The info that was that box before is the info that is now in the very left box. The info that was in the very left box was just a list of all the games in the RGR. I figured it was kinda pointless to have that info since you can find that info on the site index and also in the RGR. I still gotta reformat the 'Your Information' box since that has a smaller box now.

Singelli : Can you take a screenshot? It's probably failing to show the name of the thread, which can be easily fixed if that's the case.

If you were planning on making Vizzed a cyber family, know that you had the best of the successes! I've been dreaming on taking a step further with the creation of a Vizzed meeting, I know this won't happen anytime soon, but who knows if it can happen someday, eh?

Seishiro Leonhart : Someday if I ever have the budget, I would love to fund the meeting of the staff members of vizzed. I've never actually met anyone on the site in person (except for my real life friends that have used the site), but I have had members in the past wanting to meet up, most recently Cyro Xero (we're from the same 30 mile radius).

Seishiro Leonhart : You sort of did do the Vizzed meeting thing with Skype. There was no physical meeting, but besides not seeing each other's faces it came pretty close.

I know several members that live close to me, but I've never met any of them in person.  One of them is even down the street from me nearly every day, but we've never met. LOL

I've been doing bible studies on cam with many of them though, so I know what they look like and what their mannerisms are.  And I've made plans to meet two in people in person this summer.  ^.^

It would indeed be awesome if we could arrange something for MANY of us to do together though.  I don't think it would ever be feasible unfortunately. hehe

Tails the Fox : You know I had forgotten about the Vizzed voice and video chat?
The only reason I don't use Skype and Firefox at the same time, it's because my computer is too weak to handle it, trying it would only make my computer freeze, but when people would like to talk, I'll be always available, just call me and we'll do it.

Davideo7 : Would it be possible to filter this? Most people I don't care if they edit their profile and I always check the donation so I would see if they donated already.

earthwarrior : Users barely donate so I don't see that filling up the list. I could possibly remove the Editing Profile if users agree that it's not necessary. As for allowing you to choose what gets displayed, that could be a feature I add in the future but since that'd be time consuming to add, it wont be added for quite a while.
