When trying to save in C64 games it slows down then crashes and input key menu don't work

I'm trying to save while playing C64 games but when I hit F2 to save game it slows down then crashes. This only happens to C64 games. Also when trying to use the input key menu option none of the changed inputs respond correctly. I'm using vizzed RGR plugin and Windows 7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mandirigma1925 : I have confirmed that there are issues with saving C64 games. With Firefox it will continue to play after about 1 min or two of lag. With Chrome it just crashes outright.

Either way I am looking into the situation and will let you know the result.
