The first genre I tend to go for is a good RPG.  My first real experience with them was Legend of Legaia, and it has been my favorite ever since, with Brave Fencer Musashi being one of my others.  I first tried Pokémon on playr.com (another retro site..it is ok, but not great quality), and tend to stick with Yellow because I like the idea of playing all of the starters.
I grew up on Megaman X and Galaga, Batman, Batman and Batman.  Star Wars. 
I'm in school, currently with a BS in criminal justice; most of my free time tends to be spent either planning my future (or my day), with freecell, or with games (obviously). Been dating five years, unfortunately can't move forward until other things are in line so..that's me in a nutshell. What's yours?
