How do I do one of these popular 'nuzlocke challenges'? I sort of wonder. Friends know how, it seems like I'm the only one on Vizzed that does not know how to do one. How? I asked friends, and they never replied or they gave me a wimpy explanation on what it is.

DittoDude44 : A nuzlocke is basically playing a Pokemon game with some rules. It's kinda hard to tell all the rules, as there's different variants of it. The basic nuzlocke has at least these rules:

-Only the first Pokemon on an area may be caught. (no use of different stuff to find things in, example: Union Cave, you can only catch one pokemon on the ground or the water, but not in both) this can be negated if you need something with a neccesary HM but none of your pokemon can learn the HM. You can then catch something to learn the HM to.

-If a pokemon faints, it's gone forever. The only options you have then are either Death Box or Release. You can take hold items but that's it. Revives are useless in a nuzlocke, as you can't revive a pokemon.

-This one is optional, but you have to nickname all your pokemon. That way you create a closer bond with them.

-No in game given pokemon (example Bill's eevee) and no in game legends (like Dialga in diamond), except in a randomizer nuzlocke if it's the first pokemon you encounter.

There's some more rules but those are the major ones.

Now, as Furret has already explained it, I need not tell you how to do one.

Now, I'm not exactly sure if this is what you're looking for, but there is no Nuzlocke "mode" In Pokemon games. You just have to imagine it's all like what Firret said and follow the rules.
