right touhoumon merry it is a game that replaces all of the Pokémon for characters from Touhou it follows the story that fire red follows, the maps have not been changed but it is still a very cool game.this game I would say is based around completing the ayanote(pokedex) more than a really in depth story which is all the more fun.the difficulty is fairly hard for example only at the 3rd gym Lt surge has already began using level 30 touhou which can be a problem but if you have a solid team and don't focus on one touhou then the game will be very easy. My advise for the starter you chose is to pick reimu or Marisa as you can get the other 2 in Mt moon.next the music it uses music from the touhou series and I'm pretty sure somewhere it uses Pokémon music it is really cool music when you battle gym leaders as the music is well intense .finally game play if you don't mind grinding or putting in a lot of time then you can get a lot of fun and challenges out of this.
One final note Final Alice is a Beast
